As part of the Agricultural Water Conservation Demonstration Initiative, sponsored by the Texas Water Developement Board, the Harlingen Irrigation District has constructed a flow meter demonstration and calibration facility. The facility is located at the main pumping plant in Los Indios. This facility will be used to demonstrate and calibrate agricutural water measuring devices. The facility will be available to irrigation districts and educational institutions throughout the state.
The Meter Calibration Facility has recieved equipment donations from multiple leaders in the flow measurement industry. If you would like to contribute to the Calibration Facility please contact us at info@hidcc1.org.
